What this means is that you can enable the mod, restart the game, then disable the mod, thus making the game think you have no mods running, and then load your save and the mod will still be active. It does not kick in when you click 'enable mod' in the mods section. Unlike other mods, the Uncap FPS mod initialises when the game launches. The game did recieve a One X/PS4 Pro update to 4k but, without this mod, the game has a hardlock of 30fps. ![]() With the launch of Series X/S, the 'Uncap FPS' mod has received a resurgence because Series X has absolutely no problem running Skyrim at native 4k/60fps when using the mod. Using mods on console disables achievements. A lot of it is there.īut with one caveat. Some of the biggest and widely used mods are available on your Xbox version including graphics mods, unofficial patches, actual content expansions. As you may or may not know, Skyrim Special Edition supports all sorts of lovely mods and user created expansions etc. So with Skyrim Special Edition hitting Game Pass (for console!) today, I thought it was worth sharing this little mod tip. I've been using it this week and it works a treat! ![]()
